Metallica - Seek And Destroy (pt1) Video In this video, Metallica's Seek and Destroy. The song is made up of 9 riffs which are shown one by one.

The lesson is made in three parts and is played and showed very clearly. Included is open string riffs, righthand palms, scales sequencing, guitar fills and how to shift position cleanly on the neck. This is vital to learn to play correctly as it enables you to play the riff cleanly and in time.

Many beginners in particular try to play the notes of a riff using the wrong fingers and hand positions.

This not only slows the riff down but also makes for a sloppy riff. So pay careful attention to the fingering used in the video.

The best way to program in the right fingering is to first make sure you are using the correct fingers as explained.

When you are sure you have the correct fingerings, start practising the riff at a very SLOW tempo.
